Gracing several areas outside the station, Amescua’s cut-steel screens feature anthropomorphic figures, celestial symbols and graphic designs that reference the built and natural environments. The sculptural panels enhance the Metro Headquarters façade, as well as function as guardrails around the bus plaza and near the northeast corner of the plaza at Cesar Chavez Avenue and Vignes Street.
